Flooded Wood Floors in Dallas, TX - Saved

A flooded home in Dallas, TX had a majority of their wood floors covered in water from a water heater leak. SERVPRO of Metrocrest arrived on site within an hour and extracted water from all impacted flooring with their truck mounted extraction equipment in order to expedite the drying process. SERVPRO of Metrocrest's trained technicians then encapsulated the wood floors with plastic and injected dehumidification into the affected floors in order to save the floors from buckling and cupping. SERVPRO of Metrocrest was able to successfully save all the affected flooring which saved the customer thousands of dollars in replacement cost.
